The comfort of a familiar place

There is something special about a familiar place. It could be a small room , a favourite chair , a quiet corner, or even as street we have walked through many times. We often do not notice how much comfort these places give us until we are away from them.

A familiar place carries memories . A Cup of tea in the same corner may remind us of peaceful morning. An old road may bring black memories of childhood. These small things become part of our lives without us realising it.

In a world that is always changing familiar places give us a sense of stability. They remind us that some things can remain simple and comforting.

Maybe that is why we sometimes missing home even when we are not thinking about it. We are not thinking always missing the walls of furniture. We are missing the feeling we had there.
